When fixed wireless fits

Fixed wireless access delivers business internet over the cellular network to a router at your site. With the right survey and install, it works as a primary connection or as a backup that never shares a path with your wired service.

  • New or temporary locations that cannot wait for a wired install
  • Backup internet that does not share a path with your fiber or cable
  • Kiosks, signage and pop-ups that move with the calendar
  • Work trucks and field vehicles that need Wi-Fi on the road
  • Buildings where indoor signal is weak and a rooftop antenna is not an option

How SimpleCom delivers fixed wireless and 5G

Survey and design

We test signal on site across carriers, then choose router placement, antennas and the carrier mix that holds up at each location.

Install and turn up

SimpleCom crews mount, cable and activate every site, including outdoor mounts, building penetration and in-vehicle installs, and document each one.

Monitor and support

Devices are managed centrally, with NOC monitoring and SLA-backed support available, so issues are caught and fixed fast.

Common questions

Is 5G fixed wireless fast enough to be primary internet?

For many locations, yes. We survey signal first and recommend fixed wireless as primary only where the readings support it, with a second path where uptime matters.

Can fixed wireless back up our existing fiber or cable?

Yes. Fixed wireless uses a different path from wired service, so a cut line or a local outage does not take both connections down.

Do you need to put an antenna on the roof?

Not always. In some buildings we mount the router outside where the signal is strongest and run a clean path inside, with no rooftop antenna.

Can one SIM use more than one carrier?

Yes. The SimpleCom Smart SIM lets a single router choose between carriers from one card, so each site uses the network that performs best there.

How fast can you roll out across many sites?

We plan rollouts at portfolio and site level. One retail refresh covered 355 stores across 49 airports in 37 days onsite.
